Recently I came across this media reel. I really like the person’s choice of music and very carefully selected shots for this media reel. It looks like he has access to a helicopter for aerial shots. Nevertheless it’s spectacular! Check it out. I just recently did my own media reel however I have had to use a lot of old footage to complete it. I’m hoping to get access to a RED camera. Fun!
With this new interest in photography and with the purchase of a new camera – I am constantly looking through what seems like hundreds of pictures online to gather inspiration – a starting point. At this point I’m in the “take pictures of everything and anything” to get better with my new camera, play with lighting and find out what I am really interested in. I really am liking the common vintage look that a lot of photographers have done. Here is some of the photos that I found online that I am really gathering inspiration from.
So I finally purchased a camera! I have been drooling and eyeing this camera for over a year and finally pulled the trigger on the purchase. I got the camera last monday and have only gotten to take pictures around the apartment. Just trying out the lens that my friend let me have. In most of all these shots I just used light coming in from the window. So I will continue to update this blog with my photography and video work. Keep tuning in! Thanks.
Here is my updated video reel for the 2012 year. Some of the footage is from school projects in the past however the majority of it is from recent projects from 2011. I found the song while running on a treadmill and instantly fell in love. I realize the copyright laws but just had to edit to the song.
